Our daughter said that the people they got her from back in 2012 said she was a Pomchi, but I'm convinced that one of her parents must have a bit of Corgi in them. Same build, same coloring. She's pretty damn cute, whatever she is! &:^)
It’s better not to talk politics or religion here. Unless they volunteer or it’s openly obvious. Some of us have lived in the same community for so long we know each other’s standings. That is when things can be dicey. Or their vehicle has the huge flags with the bumper stickers lol. I have noticed a big difference in the friendliness of folks while out walking my dog. I wave or smile and nod and most won’t look at or acknowledge me. I have to remember they come from a place that’s not normal. Sad. But it makes me sad that we are losing it too due to their bringing their distrust trauma with them. It’s sad all the way around. I’m 58 and def not a trumpet. I do have the feminist symbol tattoo on my forearm and have my women power suv stickers so I don’t hide my pride and strength of being a woman. I think that is enough to tell you which way I voted. If not you are dumb. Sorry but true. I have a FDT car window sticker but I’m not ignorant enough to tempt or anger people in a red state that LOVES Trump lmfao. I do not want my vehicle damaged. Cuz it would be.
I grew up in Boise in the 70s so I’ve been surrounded a long time by people who view the world different than I do. I’ve tried to leave many times but my family is here. My grandkids. Sadly I no longer have a choice. I have been pushed out. I can no longer afford the cost of living. I have to leave come end of April.
I’m really glad that you’re using this wonderful weather to take pictures and walk your lovely dog. I don’t mean to be a nitpicker, but since I have the right to remain mouthy, I would like to remind you that they are called “Canada geese“ not Canadian.
Just a small thing from a lifelong animal rescuer who has literally gone with my sister on a wild goose chase.
Libby is a great ambassador! She makes more friends than me, and regarding names…most people we meet remember my dog’s name and forget mine. No biggie…
But yes, you are right in always be polite and leave out religion and politics in normal conversations. There is more that we do have in common or in needs. Our task is just to de escalate the stress and survive the next 4 (?) years.
Most of her Corgis passed on; the gifted after Phillip passed were given by Sarah and Andrew and they returned to Sarah and Andrew after Elizabeth’s passing. I understand that Charles and Camilla did not like the Corgis, but opted for King Charles’ Cavalier Spaniels. Could there be something in the name(🤔🤔🤪🤪)?
Baby Mooch, are you showing off your booty?
Enjoy! There is nothing better than being in nature.
Totally non-political: I'm dog crazy so I'd like to know what kind of Libby the Mooch is. Looks like corgi+chihuahua??

Well, it IS Idaho! I like Corgis. So did queen E, as I’m sure you know. Wonder who inherited her collection?
