What you are likely to find is that the doctor is a shareholder in the facility, which raises questions particularly when your private funds run out.
What you also want to ask is do they have the policy of moving the patients to another facility if and when the private funding runs out. That’s a sneaky little bit that they have in the small print.
As you are finding out about the power of attorney paperwork, that and a healthcare proxy should be completed well in advance of any medical crisis so that the power to speak for someone decisionwise is already in hand. What is there to celebtate? Maybe a mass rally, protest, a real prayer meeting, or a meditative gathering to commiserate or mourn for the current hacoc would be more appropriate.
My Corgi does not react to fireworks any more. It took a whole day of loud fireworks and lot of hot air popcorn with fireworks on New Year’s Day around the world to desensitize her. Now, even a car backfiring or smoke alarm won’t bother her. Also, I heard putting a Happy Hoodie from Amazon helps.
