Man just take it all in stride. Do what you can and what makes you happy.

There’s something very relatable about realizing you’ve built a life you love that still somehow feels like Groundhog Day. You’re not complaining, you’re noticing. Big difference. And yeah, if even the dog is lobbying for car rides, that feels like a sign worth considering.

Doing the work from the road doesn’t sound like quitting the thing you love. It sounds like changing the backdrop so the work can breathe again. Also, writers historically do great things fueled by bad coffee, long drives, and questionable motel Wi-Fi. Mooch already seems ready.

Brenda and I have often thought of the same idea... we've tossed it around, but still return to the new life in Reno every time... not that we wouldn't love to live on the road, but the impractical aspect makes it a far reach.

Hatred will never be overcome through arming every single person. It’s so obvious that having more guns than people in this country has made the US more dangerous, has resulted in the decline in tourism and has dropped the US in every metric used worldwide for security and civil rights. I think your RV idea is fantastic. You could share more photography and meet up with like minded folks.

Checking your substack stats every day is like checking the stock market every day, or worse yet the intradays. It'll only drive you nuts.

There are lots of off grid podcasters with dogs and cats along for the ride on youtube. You could learn a lot by search for them. We do month long trips in our teardrop with the dog and stay in communication with no issues. We watch them and learn new things all the time.
