America is the MOST racist country in the world.

Racism in this country isn’t subtle. It’s not theoretical. It’s not hiding in footnotes. It’s standing in line at Cinnabon yelling slurs and then getting six-figure donations from people who think cruelty is a personality trait.

What I appreciate about Jasmine Crockett is that she doesn’t pretend the fire is a candle. She names it. Loudly. And that’s the only way anything ever changes.

Some folks get uncomfortable when you call America racist. But discomfort isn’t the injury. It’s the diagnostic. If the truth makes you flinch, that’s the truth you’ve been avoiding.

Bless the ones who refuse to gaslight themselves into politeness.

Okay, I won't tell you that...

Matter of fact, I won't even think it.

Indeed, racism, racial rhetoric, racial violence have been on the rise drastically (and dangerously) since the Fuckwit Felon's first term, and even far more so since he lost to Joe Biden, and further, since he began running for this stab at America.

Those increased dramatically along with all of the other prejudistic rhetoric against anyone who isn't white, Christian, MAGA and Porky Pedo's supporter.

Will someone please, give them MAGA asswipes a roll of toilet paper! And then there's that crap with Texas Governor Abott Costello wannabe, inducting some Charlie Kirk spin-off group to high schools in Texas. That if that spin-off is not accepted in any school, that they need to report to the State Board of Education and face reprimands. SMH

Please, Dear God, let Jasmine Crockett win the bid for Senate in Texas…then help us get rid of Ted Cruz.

We’ve ALWAYS been a racist nation. Like, full stop, always been. It never went away. Just to clarify.

Well, we knew that, didn't we?

Racist shit is typically inborn, kind of in the genes. The parents spout it to the kids and they grow up thinking that way. And the pockets of it are certainly geographic, usually red states and in the south, although it exists all over. It was stated in the comments that well educated people tend not to be this way or, maybe sometimes don't verbalize or act upon it. Thank God I'm well educated, live in a blue state, Md, and care about people. Except those that don't.

Arguing with a MAGAnut is like banging your head against a wall - it feels so good when you stop.

.

It makes sense for University towns to be blue. Educated people tend to lean left.

Have I mentioned that Jasmine Crockett is awesome?

.

Side note: Bimbo Bondi just issued a memo to fed prosecutors across the country to go after anyone who might be "Antifa". See: https://substack.com/@ezralevin/note/p-181098803?r=53vs3s&utm_source=notes-share-action&utm_medium=web

That's a good question. I always suspected that if she peeled off her face we'd see the lizard underneath.

I am embarrassed to admit this - TRULY- But You know... until 2015, I thought all that was behind us. I thought it was just the "noise of a few". But that it wasn't really a thing anymore. My white privilege sheltered me from soooooo much! But once Trump started standing up and spewing the hatred out loud and all those bigots and haters stood up and applauded him... I honestly had no clue it was as bad as it is. I feel like I owe every person of color in the nation a public apology. For my own ignorance. I am not racially motivated neither for nor against ANY RACE - including my own. None of my friends and neighbors are either. I live in a predominantly Hispanic town on the Mexico border. My circle of friends is very mixed. I just had no clue. I wasn't exposed to racism in my community, nor my circle of friends, nor my family, and of course my white skin means I wasn't treated with racist biases, so I never had to FEEL it! But now... NOW I CAN SEE. Racism had been kept hidden, but it is still VERY ALIVE (not well) and thriving in America. I am so sorry...

I saw and heard enough over my lifetime that I knew racism was only hidden.
